PalmettoLink is a partnership of two great palmettos, Palmetto Electric Cooperative and Palmetto Rural Telephone Cooperative (PRTC). PalmettoLink will provide residents living in rural Allendale, Hampton and Jasper counties access to high-speed internet, digital video, phone service, landline and wireless, as well as security and home automation services. Access to these vital services not only improve many residents’ quality of life, but also provide opportunities in the form of education, jobs and economic development.
PalmettoLink will be implemented over the next three years and will begin with the installation of fiber-optic cable by the end of 2021.
